Remembrance Sunday

St Athan Community Council is preparing for Remembrance Sunday.

Service will be at St Tathan Church at 10am on Sunday 9th November 2025.

At 10.40am all will proceed to the War Memorial for the 'Act of Remembrance Service' with laying of wreaths and two minutes silence.

From 11.30am all are welcome to join the Council at the Paul Lewis Community Centre for refreshments.

If you would like to lay your own wreath, contact the clerk.

Lamp post poppies will be appearing on lamp posts throughout the area from 18th October. If you would like to sponsor one, contact the clerk.
