COMMUNITY ACTIVITY WORKING GROUP 

TERMS OF REFERENCE 

Community Activities Working Group (CAWG) 

 Aim 

To plan, organise and promote activities to be held in St Athan Ward for the good and benefit of local residents. 
To establish connections with local businesses. 

Objectives 

• To take an active role in the advancement of community activities. 

• To undertake an active role in activity planning local activities. 

• To develop processes and arrangements that have a positive impact on community activities.  

Membership 
Residents, local business and Vale Council representative(s)  

Chair 
The St Athan Community Council Chair or Vice-Chair shall be the Chair of the group.   

Meetings 
Meeting shall be held at least six times a year and additional meeting may be held at the Chair’s direction.
